Struggling here. Need Advice. Don't be rude

56f I work 38.5 hours a week at $17usd/hr. I’ve been there 7 months.

I was recently very sick with a diverticulitis flare and missed some time at work. It’s difficult for me to work full time, let alone get a 2nd job. However my income is not covering my expenses.

I’ve added this months budget. Some things are auto deducted. Housing assistance pays $138 of my rent. I get paid bi-weekly and won’t have enough for food or gas until the next pay.

I’m brain storming and would consider moving if I could afford it.

The only thing I can figure is either pay half my rent for now, or don’t pay car insurance.

Is there something I’m not thinking of?

Pay 863+340 savings 1203 -835 rent 368 -190 car ins 178 - 42 new tires auto deduct 136 -20 internet 116 - 72 phone 44 -35 co-pay 9 Left for 2 weeks.

Should I pay half rent now and half next pay? Or should I skip car insurance? Please I don’t need snide or rude remarks. Just helpful suggestions. Maybe there’s something I haven’t thought of yet.

Consider a basic phone plan for $15-20, optimize your internet or switch providers. Seek housing assistance, rent a room, sell unused items, and explore cost-saving options like copay reduction

Paying off my phone, so can’t switch plans yet. Internet is already cheapest. No room for a roommate. Co-pays are fixed by insurance. No food aid, but I’m staying positive and not giving up

Try reaching out to a local church; many have programs to help with rent or bills. Also, consider local food banks for emergency assistance—it could really help

Ive checked and no churches offer those services. Most are closing around here too

Seek food programs (food banks, pantries). Sikh gurdwaras offer free meals. Ask housing for a temporary increase. Check bank fees. Later: cheaper phone/internet, side jobs, and save small amounts long-term.

Thank you for all your input
