Podcast recommendations?

I’m looking for a good finance podcast but am also open to audiobook recommendations. I’m trying to avoid the typical girl boss or finance bro culture, which has proven to be quite difficult. What I really want is something that is accessible for the layman or specifically targeted toward Gen Z.

An audiobook I loved was Madeline Pendleton’s “I Survived Capitalism and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt.” I’m hoping to find something adjacent to that.

Morgan Housel has a podcast that I found enjoyable. I also liked his book, “The Psychology of Money.” Another great listen is “Die With Zero” by Bill Perkins.

Morgan Housel is an excellent author that anyone in this sub should check out.

Consider “Money for Couples” from Ramit Sethi; it’s one of the best in my opinion. Other suggestions include Nerdwallet’s “Smart Money” and “Money Guy Show.” For something humorous, “Financial Audit” by Caleb Hammer is a popular choice.

I like the “How to Money” podcast.

“Investtalk” is the best show I’ve come across. It’s a strictly facts-only podcast where listeners can call in for advice. They do not recommend stocks or discuss politics. It’s hosted by the owners of an investment firm and has daily, approximately one-hour episodes. I highly recommend it.

“Catching Up to FI” is focused on retirement planning at all ages. It’s very positive, emphasizes generosity, and is incredibly informative.

Why a podcast? That is often the worst place to seek advice. I suggest reading instead.

“Money with Katie!” is also a great option.

This is perfect; thank you!
