If you don’t care about brands - Aldi.
Also, at Aldi there is less impulse buying bc less options (just avoid the center aisle of shame) IMO
I buy almost everything from Aldi except produce, which spoils quickly. I also check local ads for deals.
Aldi’s the cheapest, but I prefer Kroger for variety. HEB is similar. Track expenses to compare costs
Walmart has been the best for us but we now only go to Sam’s / Costco
Walmart offers better pricing and healthier store brands. Kroger has competitive prices but higher name brand costs. Meijer has good prices but recent meat quality issues. Aldi has the best prices, but selection and quality vary.
