I recently received some Amazon credit directly to my account, and I’m kind of at a loss for what to buy. I’m pretty minimalistic, so I’m curious how others use that kind of income. Do you buy things to resell, or do you just let it sit? Right now, I have over $400 in Amazon credit, $150 for Google, $32.47 for Temu, and a bunch of other store balances ranging from $0 to $200. Some of these are gifts, and others come from rewards programs I’ve done.
I usually get my refunds sent back to the credit card I used instead of store credit, so it’s rare for me to have a balance. If I do, I just hold onto it until I need something from that store.
Totally agree! I get refunds back to my card too. Store credit just feels like a trap sometimes, especially with Amazon.
I usually buy a gift card and then invest that money. The gift card just sits until I need it.
I don’t really budget for store credits. I just use them as soon as I can.
It’s all free money to me! I usually put it towards something on my wish list.
