I was excited to give some of the Gainful protein powders I was looking at at Target a try, but as soon as I noticed the price—$18 for a small container—I put it back! Target’s entire nutrition and supplements area seems to be the same, as evidenced by the $10 price tag for OWYN protein smoothies at Target as opposed to Walmart’s $7.50. Do you believe that’s all because they have a greater selection of superior goods? The Gainful display with all the interesting brands and supplements was incredibly appealing to me, but these brands shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg!

Everything at Target is overpriced, so I only shop there for specialty products. Costco is where I normally get my protein shakes, and my Grocery Outlet offers a respectable assortment of powders. They aren’t always the greatest flavors, but you can easily make them bearable by adding some fruit or something else.
