Which Budgeting App Offers the Best Features for Your Money?

What’s the Best Budgeting App Available? Considering Monarch, YNAB, Moneyhub, Empower, Snoop, Nova, and Emma.

I’ve been using Emma for years since Yolt shut down. I pay £21 annually for Emma Pro due to an old offer, but I feel the app has become less user-friendly recently. I’m unable to connect all my accounts, so I have to manually input transactions for accounts like Asda credit card, Vanguard, Dodl, pension, and savings accounts.

I’m curious if there’s something better out there. I need a tool to track my budget, and while I currently use Emma for savings/investments, this isn’t essential as I also use a spreadsheet for tracking. I’m open to using multiple apps. What apps does everyone recommend? Thanks in advance for any advice.

YNAB is the ultimate budgeting app. It has been life-changing for me. I’ve been using it for more than 6 years, and it continues to improve over time.

It completely transformed my approach to managing finances. It’s more than just an app—it’s a method. Assigning every dollar a specific purpose, budgeting for true expenses, and more. The way it manages credit card usage is exceptional. Now, I use credit cards for all expenses, ensuring I have enough funds in the bank to pay off the balance in full each month. The app seamlessly moves money between categories and the credit card payment category automatically.

I utilize Apple Numbers spreadsheets to monitor my income and expenses, as well as to create my monthly budget report. I import transaction .csv files downloaded from my bank for this purpose.

I do something similar. I’m curious about how you organize it…
