I’m exploring different budgeting apps and would love to hear about your experiences with them. Specifically, I’m interested in learning about what you love and hate about these apps.

  • What features or aspects of budgeting apps do you find most useful and enjoyable?

Budgeting apps provide convenience, automation, goal tracking, and financial insights. However, they can have a learning curve and raise privacy and security concerns, which might be drawbacks for some users.

I use an iPhone budget and spending tracker. It costs less than YNAB, which I previously utilized. I adore the pricing and that my budget cycle can begin on the 18th, the day I am paid. This is what I’m going to do till I’m one month ahead. Then start the month on the first. When adding a transcription in the new budget app, the payee is not registered, and I am unable to split transactions. I detest that so much.
