Hey everyone! I’m feeling a bit lost with my budgeting and could really use some advice. I get paid twice a month, around $900 each time after deductions. I don’t have rent or utilities since I live at work, but I pay about $200 for car insurance and $400 to my parents for my car and phone. I also have subscriptions like Netflix and some small donations that total around $100 a month. I try to budget about $300 for groceries and other essentials. I have a cat, and her costs are pretty manageable, but my spending has been getting out of hand lately. I’m looking to save but also want to enjoy life a bit. Any suggestions on how to balance everything?
Sounds like you’re juggling a lot! Have you tried using a budgeting app to help keep track of everything?

I was thinking the same! YNAB seems popular. Anyone used it?

I’ve heard of YNAB but not sure if it’s for me. I like writing things down better…
I totally get that! Living rural makes it tough. Maybe try bulk buying when you go to the city?

Yeah, bulk buying could really help! Plus, it might save you trips to town.
Have you thought about setting a small ‘fun budget’? Like a little bit for treats each month?

That’s a good idea! I think I need to limit myself to a certain amount for fun stuff.
I used to struggle with online shopping too. Maybe try a waiting period before buying anything?

That sounds smart! I’ll give it a shot. Sometimes it’s easy to get carried away.
Don’t be too hard on yourself! It’s all about finding balance. Just keep at it!
