I tried Simply Wise recently to get a better handle on my retirement planning. It was pretty user-friendly and gave me a clearer picture of my Social Security benefits. It’s not a one-stop solution, but it helped simplify some of the financial stuff I was struggling with.
I tested a couple apps side by side. The only person to successfully scan read a receipt that was creased up was SimplyWise. I only use the bare minimum of features. Take a picture of a receipt right away and store it. Email receipts should be forwarded. As a basic receipt tracker and storage, it works wonderfully. Use the PDFs that I included with my tax documents to create a year-end report. Since I don’t use the extra features, I can’t comment on them.
SimplyWise is primarily a receipt management tool. It’s good for organizing expenses and tracking deductions. However, for comprehensive financial planning and retirement advice, consider consulting a financial advisor or using dedicated financial planning software.
