I’ve heard that some budget apps come with a receipt scanner feature, which sounds incredibly helpful for keeping track of my spending without manually entering every expense.

  • Zoho expense: Zoho Expense offers a free version and a paid plan starting at $4 per user per month. It is user-friendly and allows receipt scanning, categorization, and expense reporting.
  • Veryfi: If you need Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance, Veryfi is a great choice. It is free to use, and you pay 8 cents per document (with a $500 per month minimum). It’s especially useful for healthcare professionals.
  • Expensify: Expensify is another popular option. It is also free to use, but there is a $5 per user per month plan as well. While it doesn’t have document management, it is excellent for accounting tasks.
