Hello! I can not decide between Mint and Rocket Money as a budgeting app for my phone; my spouse and I are using different ones. We would need something more practical in place of the zero-based budgeting spreadsheet we have been using. Because Every dollar is free, I am more inclined to use it, but I am also interested in Mint and Rocket Money. Is there anyone who can offer their insights or suggestions regarding which is superior? Please
As a long-time Mint user who’s now experiencing the Mint-CK migration, I have to say it’s been a disappointment. So much useful data seems lost in the noise of Intuit’s sales pitches for things I neither need nor want.
I’ve decided to move all my accounts over to Rocket Money, and it’s been a great experience so far! They use Plaid for connecting accounts, which is really smooth. The interface is superior to Mint in my opinion, with easier navigation, better dashboards, and useful summaries. Plus, they offer a phone app, which is essential for me.
Unfortunately, I’ve had trouble connecting Toyota Financial and Sallie Mae bank accounts, similar to issues I faced with Mint. However, all my investment, bank, and credit card accounts transferred without any problems.
I’m still getting the hang of their budgeting features, but one of Rocket Money’s selling points is its ability to help find and cancel unnecessary subscriptions. That gives me confidence their budgeting tools are just as robust.
I’m currently paying $10/month voluntarily, but I believe they offer a free option like Mint did.
Been working great so far!!!
Hello guys! choosing and deciding between, Mint and rocket money can be very challenging because both of them are good budgeting app. But i would recommend rocket money it is much better than Mint.
I prefer Mint because it provides a complete picture of your finances, including bank accounts, credit cards, bills, and investments
Mint is great but the free version has a lot of ads
