I’m trying to find an iPhone app, software, or service that will allow me to make savings budgets. I would like to be able to create distinct budgets with adjustable names for various savings objectives (such as investing for college or saving for a down payment). These budgets should be based on a percentage of my income rather than a fixed amount.
Therefore, it should look something like this, for instance: 50% of my earnings would go toward “savings for university.” I would set aside 8% of my earnings for “savings for new computer.”
I have been searching in vain for an app that can accomplish this. Is there a savings budgeting tool that uses percentages?
Make a column named Name, make another one called Cost. Start filling in from there. On another tab create a spreadsheet for your income and reference that one. Try to keep different things on different tabs. Like income, costs, retirement. This way as your income changes it’s easier to update everything all at once.
Start with that. Once you get everything transcribed it’s easy to update and draw simulations.
