How much should I realistically spend for Black Friday?

Hey everyone! I just got my first job at a small restaurant, and I’m super excited for Black Friday coming up! I have some clothes I rotate, but I want to treat myself a bit. I’m thinking of spending around $200-300, maybe for some decent shirts, pants, and a nice pair of headphones. Any thoughts on what’s reasonable? I don’t want to go crazy, just want to reward myself after working hard for a few months.

Whatever you budgeted for, as long as everything else isn’t suffering.

Do you have any bills that you need to pay? What are your savings goals? Sounds like $200-300 is a solid plan. Just remember to keep your savings on track!

Not for the moment! I have about $450 saved for college. Just want some new clothes since my old ones don’t fit anymore. Trying to avoid impulse spending, lol.

Make sure you’re really getting a deal on Black Friday. Sometimes prices are just marked up to be marked down later. Also, check out Poshmark for good deals!

Honestly, I’ve worked retail and Black Friday deals aren’t always the best. Sometimes you can find better deals throughout the year.

Know what you want to get first! I’d say get a couple of pants, shirts, and maybe a nice hoodie. You could easily budget around $300 for that.

Not to be a downer, but if you’re not planning to buy something, it’s not a deal. Maybe just buy clothes you really need?
