How much do you spend on groceries?

I am trying to do some triangulation regarding my budget goals.

To help us understand how much you spend on dining out versus shopping, it would be useful to provide specifics such as your household size, monthly spending, and if you live in an LCOL, MCOL, HCOL, or VHCOL area.

If it contains personal hygiene products, household goods, or other consumable, non-perishable items, please indicate them separately.

MCOL

One toddler and two grownups

About $750 per month

The berry charge is currently the largest food bill IYKYK.

We go out to dine once or twice a week.

Usually on the weekends, when we spend more time exploring than anything else

This made me laugh a lot because I believe I spend $200 or more a month on different kinds of berries for my three-year-old and one-year-old.

The berries my wife buys and then forgets to put away in the refrigerator cost us roughly $200 a month.

My wife just came back from the grocery store with a big container of blueberries, a small container each of blackberries and raspberries, and a huge container of strawberries. As we were putting them away, my three-year-old spotted the berries. The blackberries are almost gone, and she and my one-year-old have already made a big dent in the strawberries and blueberries.

This really depend on family since and favourite dishes.
