Grocery prices just keep going up and I’m struggling (mentally, not financially) with how much I’m spending at the grocery store. How much do you budget/spend on groceries every month? How do you keep it down? Any tips or tricks would be much appreciated!
2 adults, we spend between $280-$300 a month. Usually chain store pickup (order on the app and have them bring it out to your car to prevent browsing) and special things from Whole Foods like meats and bread. But sometimes we cut back in other areas to replenish the meat we freeze, which comes in clutch when money is tight.

What are your usual meals?
2 adults and 2 kids we budget for $1400/month. Trying to get it down.
2 adults & 2 kids with one on the way. Budget each month can run between $600-$700 depending. I’m sure this may fluctuate when baby arrives. We try to buy some stuff in bulk from Costco like muffins, fresh croissants, bagels, etc., and then we freeze them and thaw them out when needed. That way they’re not going to waste and last us past a month. Best way to thaw is to use the thaw feature on the microwave or leave out overnight for the next day (the better option). I also do this with cinnamon rolls & leftover biscuits. I freeze them and use them for other days. This has helped a ton with making food last. We haven’t been the best at it since I’ve been pregnant with barely any energy to contribute to prep. But, when I’m back to normal, it works great!
Mandatory gluten free (Celiac), we spend $4-500 a month. Aldi hauls weekly around $100-140, plus some specialty items elsewhere and gluten free flour. Only homemade baked goods.

My husband is celiac, so helpful to hear from another celiac house! We are around the same for groceries.
CA, 2 people, $350-$450 (including household items as well as food items). No, we don’t only eat beans, we eat well.
