How much do you spend a month on dining out?

Including bars if applicable.

I feel like my partner and I spent $400-600 a month or so.

I budget $200/paycheck for eating out but can adjust between groceries as long as I stay under $400.

$80 max per month. sometimes not at all.

Same. I got into the routine of meal prepping and honestly I don’t even see the convenience of eating out anymore.

I have found that my taste for restaurants has dwindled to almost non-existent. there is just no appeal in it when I can cook at home and for loads cheaper.

Why dine out when I can cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner at home, stay full, and save money?

I know people who do restaurants every day and then wonder where the money went.

$2600 for 2. It was about $2k before covid. Generous income, no debts.

Wow what’s your income?

We saved when younger, have no debt, and a strong retirement stream. Now, we enjoy eating well!

Lol you know you’re rich when you’d “rather not be too specific about income”

Like why the ambiguity? Are you worried it’ll hurt our feelings
