I tested it. It was helpful, but you can only save 50 times for free. After that, you have to pay $40 each year, or $90 each year if you want to download a spreadsheet. Do you think it’s worth it?
Ive tried it .SimplyWise receipt scanning app seems to be well-received by users. It’s praised for its customer service and the ‘pay what’s fair’ feature, especially appreciated by those going through tough times. With a rating of 4.8 out of 5, it’s considered a solid choice for scanning and organizing receipts, with users finding it a good alternative to other apps they’ve used in the past
I pay for SimplyWise’s pro edition, and I think it’s worth it. My email and paper receipts are automatically entered into a spreadsheet; I’m a 1099. For me, the time saver is definitely worth the cost because I used to spend hours entering this data into Excel. When you scan in your receipts, you should verify them again just in case the scanner made a mistake. However, it’s usually fairly accurate.
I made a side-by-side comparison of several apps. SimplyWise was the only one to correctly scan and read a crumpled receipt. I only use the basic functions. Take a picture of a receipt on the spot and preserve. Forward email receipts. It’s ideal for basic receipt tracking and storing. Create a year-end report using the pdfs that I included with my tax documents. I can’t comment on the additional features because I don’t utilize them.
