I gave it a try, and it seemed useful, but it only allows 50 saves. After that, there’s a yearly fee of $40 for basic use or $90 if you want to export a spreadsheet. It seems a bit pricey. What do you think about this?
I have tried it and what I can say is that SimplyWise seems to be a well-regarded receipt management app.
I tried SimplyWise too, and it was pretty good at scanning receipts. But yeah, having to pay to export spreadsheets kind of stinks. Maybe there are other options? Some budgeting apps have built-in receipt scanners, and they might offer more features for the price. Have you looked into those? Otherwise, SimplyWise is definitely handy, but maybe a bit pricey for just basic use.
I did a side-by-side test of a few apps, and SimplyWise was the only one that successfully scanned a wrinkled receipt. I use just the basic functionality: snapping a picture of a receipt on the spot, saving it, and forwarding receipts from email. It’s great as a simple, basic receipt tracker and storage tool. At the end of the year, I generate a report with the PDFs to include with my tax documents. I can’t speak to the additional features because I don’t use them.
I have a query about the Simply Wise app, but I can not seem to find the solution. Is it possible for me to classify the submitted receipts using the desktop website rather than the iPhone app?
