Has anyone purchased Fumiko Chiba's book Kakeibo?

When I opened the one I recently purchased, it was essentially several pages of explanations followed by a large amount of journaling space. This astonished me. I thought the book would be devoted to explaining something, like the budgeting philosophy or the Kakeibo system. I had previously purchased

Kakeibo is a rather simple system, and the journal is useful for establishing and learning the process. That is the key to the system (and any budgeting system).

I believe technology has done a wonderful job of making money too complicated. It’s really easy for most folks to understand. It has the impression of being more than a few pages. But in all honesty, it’s rather dull. But in this instance, boring is fine.
