Credit Card: Manage wisely to avoid debt and build credit

Hello All,

I’m confusing myself. Finally putting the big girl budget together. I have a credit card for $1000 and I’m trying to figure out where to put it in my budget. I want to be able to use it for a couple bills so that I will be able to pay it off in full each month. Hopefully to increase the limit for all my expense and repeat the same thing. I guess where do I put it in my budget?

The payment method doesn’t matter. Record bills on your card as soon as they’re charged.

This is what I do. My credit cards are only marked into my budget for when I carry over charges from one pay period to the next before I pay it. Since I charge all my groceries and every day charges to the card and pay it only a few times a month depending on how high the balance is.

Got it thank youvery much

If there’s no debt, the card doesn’t need its own budget line. Just pay bill A and B ($100) via the card and apply the budgeted amount to the balance.

Oh good idea! Thank you
