I’m a college student, and during the school year, I won’t have any income. Most of the budgeting apps I’ve looked at seem to use income to create a budget, but I just want something simple to track my credit card spending.
I typically budget myself a specific amount per week. While it wasn’t perfect, I used to transfer a set amount each Sunday from my savings to my checking account. Now, I want to use a credit card to take advantage of the rewards.
I’ve tried Oops, and it’s the closest app to what I’m looking for, but I’d prefer something that’s free or low-cost. Does anyone have any recommendations for budgeting apps that fit these criteria? TIA
I have used Mint and it has been a great tool for me. It lets me track my credit card spending and set up a budget without having to input income. Plus, it is free and really easy to use.
I was looking for a straightforward way to track my credit card spending without focusing on income. While Oops was a good starting point, I needed a more budget-friendly option. I discovered that YNAB (You Need A Budget) provides a free trial and is relatively affordable afterward. It’s excellent for managing spending and maintaining a weekly budget.
