Hello new to the forum, I’ve been using YNAB for five years and I’m ready for a change. Wondering if you guys can help me find a new budgeting software. I’m looking for an app with zero-based budgeting or envelope budgeting, a bank reconciliation feature like YNAB, and it needs to have a mobile app for iOS along with a web app for Windows and Mac. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The main reason I want to switch is that I find YNAB a bit overwhelming. I recently found GoodBudget and really like it, but I’m curious if there are other options I’m missing…
I’ve been using Actual Budget for about 6 months after some years with YNAB. I find it to be excellent.

I have heard about this… does it have a mobile app?

Not in an App Store but there’s good instructions on their site about how to have a desktop link to the file. It works good.
Here’s a list of apps to choose from! They all have different price plans and functions. I chose Wealth Position for flexibility. It has both short and long-term finance planning.

Sounds interesting! What’s the setup like?
@Wylie
It’s a little complex to set up, but once you get it, you can plan your finances really well!
GoodBudget is pretty good, but I wasn’t a fan of the UI. I built Centsible instead. One-time purchase if you only need it on one device.

Just downloaded it and love it! Does the paid version allow my wife to log in on her phone?
@Wylie
When you buy a lifetime license, it includes 2 years of multi-device data sync. You can share the login with your wife and it’ll sync!

Awesome! Are there plans for budgeting on a computer?
If you’re looking for an alternative to YNAB, check out Habit Money! It has envelope budgeting and connects to your bank.

Yep! It offers a mobile app for iOS and a web app accessible on Windows and Mac.
You might want to try EveryDollar by Dave Ramsey or a free spreadsheet. CoPilot is a great mobile app for iOS.
