Hey everyone, I just wanted to share this cool personal finance software I found. It’s totally free and open-source! You can check it out here: claude_dumas/gbp: graphical-budget-planner is a free and open source Linux application that facilitates the creation, management and analysis of personal budget forecasts - Codeberg.org. There’s a version for Windows and one for Linux too. I use it weekly for my family’s budgeting, and it’s super helpful. Anyone else tried it yet?
I’ve never heard of this before. Is it easy to use?

Yeah, it’s pretty user-friendly! Just download the AppImage and run it. No complicated setup.
Sounds interesting! Does it have any features for tracking expenses?

Totally! You can track both income and expenses, and it even lets you set budgets.
I’ve been looking for something like this. Thanks for sharing!

Is it good for beginners? I don’t have much experience with budgeting apps.

Yeah, I’d say it’s pretty straightforward. You’ll get the hang of it fast!
Can you use it on Mac too? Or just Windows and Linux?

I think it’s mainly for Windows and Linux, but you might be able to run it using a VM or something.
I’m gonna check it out! How’s the performance? Any lag?

Not at all! It runs smoothly, even on older systems. I haven’t experienced any lag.
