Anyone know where to find this budgeting template?

Hello all, I’m trying to find a budgeting template that I heard about. They mentioned it was from Excel, but I can’t seem to locate it in the templates section. Has anyone else come across this budgeting template? Any help would be appreciated.

I’m not seeing a template either. It sounds like it might be a pie chart generated from the user’s data. I’m not an Excel user, but I could create something similar using Apple Pages if that helps.

Thanks for looking into that. I really just need something straightforward for budgeting, so if you can create a chart, that would be awesome.

Sure, I can give it a shot. Just let me know what specific categories you want to include in the budget, and I’ll see what I can do.

Did the original post mention which version of Excel they were using? Sometimes templates can vary across different versions, and that might be why you can’t find it.

No, they didn’t specify the version. I guess that could be part of the issue. I’ll ask them if they know which version they used.

@Blue
That sounds like a good idea. Knowing the specific version could make it easier to find the right template or even recreate it if necessary.

Have you checked online for downloadable Excel templates? There are a ton of budgeting templates available for free. Just search for them, and you might find something useful.

I haven’t looked into that yet. I’ll definitely give it a try and see what I can find. Thanks for the suggestion.

@Blue
No problem. Sometimes you can find really well-designed templates that can help with managing your budget effectively.

If you don’t find a specific template, you could also create your own from scratch. It might take a bit of time, but you can customize it exactly how you want.

That’s a good idea too. I might end up going that route if I cannot find what I’m looking for. Customizing it could work better for my needs.

@Blue
Exactly, and there are plenty of resources online that can guide you on how to set it up effectively. Just take your time with it.

IDK much about Excel, but I heard Google Sheets has some great templates too. You might want to explore that option as well.

I didn’t think about Google Sheets. That could work since I use it regularly. I’ll check that out. Thanks for the tip.

@Blue
Yeah, they have various templates that you can easily customize, and it’s pretty user-friendly. You might find exactly what you need there.
