I’m considering switching from my old paper and Excel method of tracking expenses to a budgeting software like Buckets. It seems appealing because I can buy it once and use it on my laptop, plus I won’t have to link any accounts unless I want to, which I probably won’t, lol. The issue is, I mainly use my credit card for purchases and pay it off monthly. Can I still track my credit card spending in Buckets without it being too complicated?
Yeah, most budgeting software can handle credit cards. Buckets should work fine for that!

What do you mean by handle? Like, can I categorize purchases?

Exactly! You can categorize each purchase, just like you would with cash transactions.
I switched to Buckets last month, and it’s been a game changer for me. No more paper mess!
I’ve heard good things about Buckets. Just be careful with syncing if you change your mind about linking accounts.
How do you even track credit card expenses manually? I’m curious.

I just record my purchases in the software and categorize them after each month. It’s not too hard!
I had similar issues with bank errors before. Glad to hear Citibank is working well for you now!
