Anyone else able to buy a new washer with cash? 🤑

A win for us! Our washer has been messing up and because we live below our means but within our needs, never overspend, don’t use credit unless it can be paid off the next month, and have a healthy emergency fund, we were able to buy a brand new washing machine using CASH. :smile::facepunch: wahoo!!!

Way to go :tada::+1:

Congrats!! :tada:

That’s awesome! We’ve been thinking about getting a new washer too. It’s so nice not having to rely on credit for things like that.

Yeah, it feels great! Living below our means really helps in situations like this. Hope you can get yours soon!

Whoa, nice! How long did it take to save up for the washer?

It took us a few months, but honestly, we prioritize saving over anything else. Feels so good to make big purchases like that without worrying about debt!

I gotta start being better about my emergency fund… how much do you think is a good amount to have saved?

I’d say at least 3-6 months of living expenses. It really depends on your lifestyle and how much you want to feel secure, but that’s a good starting point.

@jordansmith
Gotcha! I’ll aim for that. Thanks for the advice! :blush:
